INTRODUCTION
This course provides information on how to effectively isolate energy sources and follow the Lockout Tagout procedures.

Course Objectives
 Review the basic theory of Energy Isolation and Lockout / Tagout procedures.
 Describe the energy sources found on the rig and identify the proper methods for isolating each type.
 Describe the roles and responsibilities of personnel for Lockout Tagout procedure.
 Identify the forms and associated fields used for Lockout Tagout procedure.
 Describe the Lockout Tagout procedure steps.
 Perform the Lockout Tagout procedure and complete an energy isolation form and log.
