COURSE DESCRIPTION
The fire team is led by a Team Leader, with the necessary skills, experience, knowledge and understanding required to lead an industrial fire team in an emergency fire or rescue situation.
Course Objective
Describe the role of the Emergency Response Team Leader
Initiate servicing of equipment and replenish stocks
Allocate and confirm the team’s duties and tasks
Monitor the team’s progress, evaluating.
Adjusting and communicating the response plan
Maintain communications during an incident
Monitor stress in self and others

PREREQUISITE
Participant should have taken the advance fire fighting course, or have some experience in structural fire fighting.
Target Audience
All fire emergency response team members of companies having an on-site fire response team. Other workers in the Oil & Gas, Mining, Petrochemical, Manufacturing, Chemicals companies wishing to become fire team leaders

Methodology:
Class room session,
Course manual for all participants
Digital in-focus projector to display lecture slides
Practical sessions with simulations on leading fire teams and use of advance fire fighting equipments
At the end of the course, participants shall be issued certificates.
