This Intermediate Basic Natural Gas Safety & Operations Integrity Course will give participants the appropriate skills and knowledge to analyze, eliminate, prevent, and controlling hazards associated with natural Gas and its properties. Safety of Gas Pipe work and fittings (identification and installation)
Characteristics of combustion and natural gas as delivered to end users
Positioning of emergency control valves and emergency procedures
Safety Relief Valve and depressurizing
Standing and operating pressures
Tightness testing and purging
Gas safety devices and controls
Unsafe situations/use of emergency notices and warning labels
Prevention of fires and explosions
Safety management and regulation of natural gas installations
Hazardous area classification and control of operations and maintenance activities
Natural gas case studies of incidents and lessons learnt
This Intermediate Basic Natural Gas Safety & Operations Integrity Course will be organized in 1 day. These include classroom exercises and videos.
The pre-requisite for Intermediate Basic Natural Gas Safety & Operations Integrity Course (End User Natural Gas Training 2) is that participants must be able to read and write Basic English and must have completed Natural Gas Safety and Operations Integrity (End User Natural Gas Training 1).

Fire fighting practical’s
At the end of the course, participants shall be issued a certificate and PASS.

Every two years
